Eso ha ocurrido esta tarde, cuando después de abandonar la favela, Francisco se ha dirigido a la catedral de Río, donde ha mantenido un encuentro con cerca de 40.000 jóvenes argentinos. Ante los chicos y chicas de su patria, y muy emocionado, Francisco ha dado las claves de la Iglesia que pretende construir: «Las Bienaventuranzas y Mateo 25 (parábola de los talentos y el Juicio Final). Os vendrán bien. Éste es el protocolo con que nos van a juzgar. No necesitan leer otra cosa».
Las Bienaventuranzas y Mateo 25. Dos de las lecturas obligadas para cualquiera dispuesto a cambiar el mundo, y a no encerrarse tras los muros de una iglesia, sin salir a la calle. Todo un programa de servicio, todo un programa de gobierno.
Pero no se quedó ahí. Bergoglio, muy en su salsa (llegó a interrumpir en varias ocasiones a monseñor Arancedo, quien le presentó, para aplaudir a los jóvenes por estar dentro, «y a los que están fuera, mojándose con la lluvia»), dio otras tres claves, otros tres puntos que espera de la juventud cristiana.
La primera, «que hagan lío». «¿Qué es lo que espero como consecuencia de la JMJ? Espero lío. Que acá va a haber lío, sí… Pero quiero lío al salir de Río. Quiero lío en las diócesis, quiero que se salga fuera. Quiero que la Iglesia salga a la calle. Quiero que nos defendamos de todo lo que sea mundanidad, instalación, comodidad, clericalismo, estar encerrados en nosotros mismos. Si no salen, se convierten en una ONG. Y la Iglesia no puede ser una ONG», dijo el Papa ante una multitud enfervorecida.
Tanto, que el Papa casi pidió perdón: «Que me perdonen los obispos y los curas si alguno después le arman lío a ustedes». Pero no se frenó: «éste es mi consejo: gracias por el lío que puedan hacer».
En segundo lugar la lucha por la dignidad de todos, especialmente de «los dos polos de la vida, los jóvenes y los ancianos». «Esta civilización mundial se pasó de rosca. Es tal el culto que ha hecho al Dios dinero que estamos presenciando una filosofía y una praxis de exclusión», denunció Francisco, que criticó tanto la «eutanasia activa», como «la eutanasia cultural. También hay una exclusión de los jóvenes. Es una generación que no tiene la experiencia de la dignidad conseguida por el esfuerzo».
Por ello les pidió, «los jóvenes tienen que salir, hacerse valer, tienen que salir a lluchar por los valores». Y «los viejos», que «abran la boca y nos enseñen. Transmítannos la sabiduría de los pueblos».
«No claudiquen, ancianos, de ser la reserva cultural de nuestro pueblo, los que transmiten los valores y la memoria. Y ustedes (a los jóvenes) no se metan con los viejos, escúchenlos». Porque, «en este momento, ustedes, jóvenes y ancianos, están destinados al mismo destino: la exclusión. ¡No se dejen excluir!», bramó Francico.
Y la tercera, la autenticidad: «Es un escándalo que Dios se haya hecho uno de nosotros, que haya muerto en la cruz. La cruz sigue siendo escándalo, pero sigue siendo el único camino. Por favor, no licúen la fe en Jesucristo. No tomen licuado de fe: la fe es entera, no se licúa, es la fe en el hijo de Dios hecho hombre que murió por mi».
En resumen, y esto lo repitió hasta en tres ocasiones Francisco: «Hagan lío, no se dejen excluir ni excluyan, y no licúen la fe en Jesucristo». Y después, la gran lección, el gran consejo. «Las bienaventuranzas…. Léanlas que os vendrán bien. Leed Mateo 25 (los talentos). Que es el protocolo con que nos van a juzgar. No necesitan leer otra cosa».
Y, finalmente, una confesión. «Me da pena que estén enjaulados, pero les digo una cosa. Yo por momento siento ‘qué feo que es estar enjaulado’. Los comprendo. Me hubiera gustado estar más cerca de ustedes pero comprendo que por razones de orden no puedo», y otra vez el escándalo de los jóvenes que, como pidió el Papa, tienen toda la pinta de «hacer mucho lío» a partir de ahora.
El acto finalizó con la petición de Francisco a los jóvenes: «Recen por mí. Necesito de la oración de ustedes», y la bendición de la imagen de la Virgen de Luján y la Cruz de San Francisco, que servirán para misionar por toda la Argentina. «No se olviden, hagan lío. Cuiden los dos extremos de la vida (ancianos y jóvenes) y no licúen la fe», y el Papa se despidió. Haciendo lío.
