O proceso de posta en marcha e extensión destes proxectos implicaba un compromiso das persoas que había detrás deles, que co seu traballo voluntario ou remunerado estaban dispostas a pór en marcha ferramentas que fosen útiles e necesarias para completar un dos eixos necesarios das nosas sociedades, como é o da xestión das finanzas.
Ao longo dos últimos 15 anos fomos capaces de montar un sistema que aos poucos vai dando respostas ás diferentes necesidades xurdidas -e seguramente sen respostas inmediatas- a través da perseveranza, a intercooperación e o traballo por un obxectivo claro. Foi grazas ao compromiso das persoas e entidades involucradas que eriximos un sistema de organizacións que aos poucos empezan a ser unha alternativa ao sistema convencional de finanzas.
Que nos sucedeu con esta nova crise do sistema? A resposta podería ser moi ampla pero a que nos interesa aquí é o nivel de compromiso da cidadanía. Moitas persoas están fartas de ter o sentimento de que o sistema económico vixente non cambiará, e precisamente este é un dos pensamentos que debemos combater desde as propias organizacións que traballamos no ámbito da Economía Solidaria. O noso territorio está cheo de centos de casos, onde a mobilización cidadá conseguiu logros moi significativos no proceso de construción de alternativas desde o local e debemos lembralos e explicalos continuamente para ter presente que o sistema dominante non é o único vixente.
O 15-M e a PAH son dúas das experiencias de mobilización social máis significativas de ámbito estatal, que precisamente responden a un espírito de cambio e que á vez requiren de tempo, perseveranza e constancia para conseguir os fins propostos. Por unha banda o primeiro propúñase dicir “non” ás decisións dos nosos representantes políticos fronte á presión estranxeira que tentaba conseguir un cambio na orientación política do país. Con todo aos poucos foron articulando, con diferenzas segundo as cidades, uns movementos comunitarios de cooperación e construción de alternativas nos barrios. No segundo caso, a PAH realizou un traballo moito máis visible nos últimos anos de crear unha conciencia cidadá sobre o dereito á vivenda, freou centos de procesos de desafiuzamentos de persoas que non tiñan outra alternativa que quedar na rúa e, en terceiro lugar, denunciou algúns dos principais responsables do proceso de estancamento na modificación das leis que permiten que a lexislación española sexa unha das máis retrógradas a nivel europeo.
Que queremos dicir con todo isto? Basicamente dúas cousas. En primeiro lugar esta crise está a lembrarnos a nosa condición de cidadanía e por tanto, a necesidade de defender os nosos dereitos fronte a un sistema que só mira por defender o duns poucos; e en segundo lugar o poder da cidadanía organizada para construír outros escenarios de relacións sociais e económicas baseados nos valores da Economía Solidaria.
As diferentes iniciativas que englobamos a Economía Solidaria son un exercicio de democratización da economía no sentido máis amplo da palabra. É dicir para que todas as persoas, sen importar a súa condición legal, aspecto físico ou habilidades sociais, teñan a oportunidade de desenvolver unhas condicións de vida que a fagan digna como persoa en igualdade de condicións que as demais, temos que construír un sistema que defenda os intereses de todas. E para isto necesitamos ter os obxectivos claros en cada un dos ámbitos do cambio e logo desenvolver virtudes como a paciencia, a constancia e a perseveranza para que a medio prazo demos un envorco á forma de operar do sistema. Mesmo nun ámbito que podía parecer tan duro como é o das finanzas estamos a conseguilo, pero sen o compromiso e lealdade da cidadanía é difícil desenvolver proxectos transcendentais que incidan en cambiar as estruturas e formatos dun sistema liberal que nolo daba todo feito e sen moitas preguntas a cambio.
Por este motivo é imprescindible profundar o compromiso da cidadanía na construción de alternativas ao sistema capitalista dominante para mostrarnos a nós mesmos a posibilidade de dar respostas integradoras ás diferentes necesidades que temos como colectivo. Sen o noso compromiso en apoiar as diferentes iniciativas estamos a entregar a nosa cota de poder ao sistema e aos seus intereses, que se aproveita de todos aqueles descoidados, que sen querer, a través do consumo e a desmobilización, permiten que o sistema continúe impondo as súas regras do xogo.
Precisamente a proposta do Mercado Social que se está desenvolvendo a nivel estatal nunha serie de territorios, tenta dar resposta a algúns destes retos a través de incidir e acrecentar a intercooperación do propio sector así como buscando a ampliación a novos sectores de poboación. Por este motivo, necesitamos que máis cidadanía se some tamén a este cambio de modelo e camiñe xunto a nós neste proceso de desenvolvemento de novos modelos de organización social.
A nosa base cooperativa debe axudarnos a mobilizar ás persoas a implicarse no circuíto de construción de alternativas que nos permita construír unha sociedade máis xusta, desde a produción e consumo de bens de primeira necesidade, ao tempo de lecer e a xestión das finanzas.
