LAS MUJERES QUE JESÚS NO CONDENA (Juan 8, 1-11)
Entonces le presentaron a Jesús varias mujeres “sorprendidas” en distintas situaciones que los escribas y fariseos de estos tiempos tienen la certeza que son meritorias de condena…
Para que Jesús las condenara, apelaron a la ley del más fuerte, a las leyes del Imperio, a las leyes de la guerra sucia y de la lucha contra el terrorismo, a las leyes de la religión acomodada, a las leyes del mercado y a las nuevas leyes aprobadas por el Congreso.
Jesús no tenía escapatoria esta vez, pues tenía todo el peso de las leyes para condenarlas.
Todo estaba claro… ¿Para qué juicios prolongados? ¿para qué un abogado defensor si la certeza era absoluta?¿para que gastar tiempo en escucharlas si nada nuevo tenían que decir?¿para que aumentar el número de los que no compran y menos producen?
Por eso, aprovecharon para traerlas a todas juntas. Le trajeron:
– Una mujer indígena que se había opuesto a que le quitaran las tierras que su comunidad habita desde remotos tiempos y de las que son sus legítimos dueños…
– Una mujer campesina que había abierto los caminos públicos, cerrados con candados por un potentado que quería ampliar su cerrada propiedad…
– Una mujer golpeada que quiso librarse del compañero que la maltrataba y por ello se había ido de casa…
– Una mujer-niña que robaba en las calles y cuyas ganancias iban a parar a otras manos…
– Una mujer de piel negra que estaba en una manifestación por los derechos de las mujeres y varones de su color…
– Una mujer que comerciaba con su cuerpo porque no tenía otro medio de ganarse la vida y alimentar a sus hijos…
– Una mujer con Sida que había sido contagiada por su compañero y por ello se había revuelto contra él…
Una mujer que, en una patera, trataba de huir de la violencia, la pobreza y la malavida hacia un sueño costero…
Una mujer-niña que se había escapado de un orfanato porque se sentía ahogada y maltratada…
– Una mujer que protestaba contra la guerra sanguinaria de los que inventan la guerra para hacer buenos negocios con la sangre, la destrucción y el petróleo…
– Una mujer feminista que luchaba por reivindicar sus derechos de género…
– Una mujer, aun muchachita, que vivía en las calles y se drogaba junto con sus compañeras y compañeras de intemperie…
Una mujer que celebraba la muerte del dictador…
Recuerdo sólo estas…aunque eran muchas más las mujeres que le trajeron a Jesús. No exhibieron documentos, pero sé que había de Asia, África, América, Europa y Oceanía…de países mundialmente famosos y de otros no tanto, de algunas familias de apellido conocido y muchas que eran sólo un número…¿fue una casualidad?
Y Jesús se puso a escribir en la tierra cosas ininteligibles. ¿qué habrá escrito? ¿quién sabe?. Alguno pensó que había escrito “dame paciencia”; otros, “¿qué hago con estos tipos?”; otros, pensaron que estaba dándose tiempo para la respuesta porque estaba un poco desorientado; otros, creyeron que estaba repasando el derecho civil, el derecho penal, el derecho canónico, el derecho torcido de los que siempre vuelcan la balanza de la justicia para su lado…para ver qué artículo citar y salir bien parado de esta situación; algunos, creyeron ver en sus ojos cómo elaboraba su ira…
Pero lo que muy pocos percibieron, o casi ninguno, fue que Jesús, en realidad, “se inclinó” frente a las mujeres que le habían colocado delante pidiéndole que se “erigiera” como Juez Supremo.
Esta vez, no dijo “el que no tenga pecado, que tire la primera piedra”…porque conocía la tela de los que querían la condena de todas ellas. Lo sabía cargados de orgullo, creídos que eran los limpios, los salvadores del Impero o del planeta, los puros, los religiosos, los defensores de la familia, los guardianes de las iglesias…
Jesús tuvo temor de que les hicieran daño a estas mujeres…Por eso, no volvió a repetir la frase de aquellos tiempos. Esta vez, después de inclinarse frente a ellas un buen rato, se levantó, tomó con sus manos el mentón de cada una de estas mujeres y, cariñosamente, lo levantó, para que no siguieran mirando hacia abajo avergonzadas, sino que recuperaran su dignidad. Luego, las miró transparentemente a sus ojos…a cada una…
A algunas…, les dijo: “busquemos juntos alguna alternativa diferente”.
A otras, les dijo: “sigan adelante, yo estoy con ustedes. Tiene un coraje admirable”.
Y a todas,…todas…les dio un abrazo, las trató de igual a igual…y les dijo: “yo no te condeno”…
Todos, comenzando por los más poderosos y terminando por algunos no tan poderosos (pero bien machistas), pasando por los defensores de “los valores tradicionales”…(pero olvidadizos de la justicia y la misericordia), se fueron retirando. Estaban desilusionados…porque el Señor de los Ejércitos, el Dios Todopoderoso, El Cristo Rey, el Señor de los Señores, no había cumplido la misión encomendada…
Claro, “si era sólo Jesús de Nazaret, el hijo del carpintero y la muchachita esa…”
