O 22 de xaneiro, un grupo de veciños e veciñas da cidade presentámonos no despacho da xefa das traballadoras sociais do concello de Vigo ante a falta de resposta á petición das bases das axudas económicas de emerxencia. Peticións que fixeron persoas diferentes e en varias ocasións, as últimas nos meses de outubro e novembro do pasado ano.
Pese a non levar cita fomos atendidos e saímos coas citadas bases, que achegamos como arquivo .pdf nesta entrada. A técnica manifestou que non sabía nada desas peticións, que as bases para 2013 aprobáronse en xunta de goberno hai uns días e que eran públicas. A rapidez e sinxeleza da entrega de hoxe, choca co silencio ás peticións feitas por escrito.
Aproveitamos tamén o intercambio para manifestar que o empobrecemento non para de medrar na cidade e especialmente en barrios como Coia, e que aínda que nos digan que non hai cartos para cubrir as nosas necesidades básicas nós sabemos que si existen e que só con vontade política pódese mudar esta situación.
Ao saires entregamos por rexistro este escrito que resume as peticións deste grupo:
Como veciñas e veciños desta cidade acudimos hoxe ao concello, á nosa casa, porque aínda que a primeira obriga dos nosos gobernantes é garantir unhas condicións de vida digna para todas as persoas, o noso concello semella ter decidido non ver, non escoitar e non falar ante as inxustizas que nos rodean.
Non ver a precariedade que padecemos moitas de nós, vítimas dunha burocracia interminable para acceder ás axudas de emerxencia social, que resultan sempre demasiado escasas e insuficientes; non escoitar as nosas reinvindicacións cando saímos á rúa para expresar a nosa indignación…; e nin sequera falar connosco, darnos explicacións sobre por que, como, con que criterios e en que circunstancias concede as axudas económicas de emerxencia, que son para moitas de nós indispensables para ter unhas mínimas condicións e poder vivir dignamente.
Isto é o que, no contexto dunha reivindicación máis ampla, vimos reclamar hoxe aquí: en reiteradas ocasións temos demandado dita información vía rexistro e non atopamos por parte do concello máis resposta que o silencio. Un silencio humillante e, por iso mesmo, intolerable, porque pretende silenciarnos, anular como cidadás precisamente ás persoas máis vulnerables da nosa veciñanza. Quen deberían ser os primeiros semella que seguen a ser, para os nosos gobernantes, os últimos…
Por todo isto, unha vez máis, dirixímonos hoxe publicamente á administración máis cercana, o Concello de Vigo, para esixirlle en primeiro lugar que nos faga chegar dunha vez por todas a información requerida e para que, en último termo, reparta a nosa riqueza de xeito que poidamos vivir dignamente con traballo ou sen el e que sirva para cubrir as necesidades básicas de todas as persoas. Esixímoslle, en definitiva, que cumpra coa súa obriga de garantir a través dos recursos comúns os dereitos fundamentais das veciñas e veciños da nosa cidade.

In principle a good idea to have instant access to a fresh texture pool. But I’m not sure if this pack is really worth its money. On the one hand you can get equivalent textures on the web, on the other hand most of the textures could be done in less than a minute. For me this is not really time-consuming at all. If the kit grows and gets some more good looking and especially more complex textures, I’ll consider to buy a copy. Looking forward to it.

Hey hey hey, take a gander at what’ you’ve done
FFD – the last time I used it, I had real photography of an object and needed to create a realistic reflection. I used a not-so-photo-real model and did my best to match the background plate using the C4D camera. Since it’s incredibly hard to get a CG camera to match a real camera if you haven’t planned for it, I used FFD to tweak the low res model to more precisely match the perspective distortion of the photo so the reflection would line up correctly. It would have been better to plan for it and use Photomatch, but if there was any planning, it never would have been getting the reflective floor treatment in the first place.SBG

Same here! i’ve been tinkering around with the materials in R13 but can’t seem to get the transparency right either! they just become more and less reflective in mighty funky ways it seemsballoons also only start turning transparant fromthe 50% mark it seems, but still it gives me overall funky weirdness! wonderful tut though!

I would look at the players that work and compare their sound settings with the ones that don’t work. See what differences you can find. That might uncover the cause. Beyond that I would advise asking on a big Linux forum like the Ubuntu Forums where know more. I don’t think there’s much else I can personally do right now. Good luck, hope you track the bug down!

I think JCP's new corporate brand, ad campaign, etc. since Ron Johnson's hire have been great. And he did fantastic work at Apple previously.However, from what I've heard from friends in retail, JCP is still struggling compared to Kohl's, Target, Walmart, etc. While it's early yet in the rebrand, if you really want to show support for JCP go beyond words and open the wallet; buy something there!Otherwise, no matter how great we think it is that they stand up to OMM and other extreme groups, if JCP loses the war for the almighty dollar these groups will think that they've "won" every time a store closes.
