8 novembro – Contra o desvío dos fondos para o Centro de Inclusión: Fai Ruído

Dende a Rede Social Galicia Sur -da que forma parte a nosa comunidade- manifestamos, tras o acordo do Pleno municipal do Concello de Vigo do día 25 de outubro polo que se acorda transferir os fondos previstos – 345.000 € – para a construción do Centro de emerxencia social na cidade de Vigo para actuacións “urxentes” doutros ámbitos:

– A nosa sorpresa, indignación e profundo malestar pola decisión adoptada cos votos a favor dos grupos municipais do PSOE e do BNG.

– Que os colectivos que pertencemos a Rede Social Galicia Sur, sentímonos totalmente defraudados por esta medida que ven culminar unha serie de promesas incumpridas dende hai anos en relación coa apertura do Centro de Inclusión na nosa cidade.

– Que os poderes públicos de esta cidade seguen sen ser quen de dar cobertura ás urxentes e máis básicas necesidades do colectivo de persoas sen fogar do municipio.

– Que a situación deste colectivo segue a ser dramática, con graves dificultades de acceso a cuestións tan básicas como: a auga potable, a hixiene persoal, alimentación, abrigo, seguridade etc.

Dende a Rede Social Galicia Sur, seguimos a reivindicar o tan necesario Centro de inclusión social que cubra as necesidades primarias e que permita ademais iniciar procesos de recuperación persoal que contribúan a que  as persoas sen fogar poidan  saír do círculo da pobreza e da exclusión social.

Por todo isto, exisimos que se revogue o acordo plenario e que de non ser así, esa partida presupuestaria se adique a cuestións realmente urxentes, como é a cobertura das necesidades sociais básicas de este colectivo.

Como acto de rechazo convocamos á cidadanía viguesa a unha concentración protesta que se vai celebrar o luns 8 de novembro ás 19:00 na Praza da Princesa, baixo o seguinte lema: «Contra o desvío dos fondos para o Centro de Inclusión: Fai Ruído».
