Achegamos o texto da convocatoria do acto do xoves 10 de outubro ás 19h30 na praza da Constitución:

¡POR LA CARA Y… POR SI ACASO!

Manifiesto en contra del Anteproyecto de reforma del Código Penal que afecta al colectivo de salud mental.

El grupo IMÁN y La ONG SOLIDARIOS ANÓNIMOS darán a conocer el próximo día 10 de octubre (día mundial de la salud mental) un manifiesto conjunto que alerte a la población civil acerca de las consecuencias sociales del Anteproyecto de Reforma del Código Penal.

A las 19:30 horas en la Plaza de la Constitución, se leerá un comunicado de rechazo que bajo el título: ¡Por la cara y…por si acaso! revelará públicamente, que el anteproyecto criminaliza los movimientos sociales y es especialmente discriminatorio con las personas con un diagnostico psiquiátrico y aquellas afectadas con algún tipo de adicción.

El manifiesto será leído por el coordinador del grupo Imán: Antón Bouzas y el presidente de la ONG Solidarios Anónimos: Carlos Mañas. (También participaran afectados de diferentes patologías)

El grupo Imán y la ONG Solidarios Anónimos, presentamos el presente manifiesto de rechazo titulado ¡Por la cara y… por si acaso! por entender que el Anteproyecto de Reforma del Código Penal criminaliza movimientos sociales como los nuestros, que acogen en su seno a personas afectadas con alguna patología psíquica y aquellas otras que sufren algún tipo de adicción.
Dentro de este colectivo formado por mujeres, hombres y su entorno, es donde se inspira nuestra misión social. Una misión trasparente, ajena a la caridad que ahora vería peligrar sus objetivos de integración de aprobarse el anteproyecto del Código Penal.

Las injustas consecuencias sociales que revelaría el anteproyecto, se nutren de tópicos ancestrales donde la ignorancia parece guiar unas propuestas carentes de empatía.

POR LA CARA…

Entendemos que las propuestas presentadas enriquecen de manera radical el estigma de los enfermos mentales, de los drogodependientes y diferentes colectivos marginados que ven limitada su capacidad de integración y son abandonados a su suerte.

Por su cara, su aspecto, su apariencia… pueden ser recluidos, privados de libertad y condenados a la precariedad más absoluta.

El nuevo código penal equipara la enfermedad mental con la peligrosidad y tipifica a la persona con trastorno mental como sujeto peligroso.

POR SI ACASO…

Toda persona diagnosticada como enferma mental y/o problemas de adicción podrá ser o permanecer encerrada incluso por delitos que no ha cometido, en previsión de los que pueda cometer en un futuro.

El nuevo código penal anula la posibilidad de reinserción del reo mental o con patología dual, de manera que toda persona que haya cometido un delito, independientemente de la gravedad de ese delito, puede permanecer en un centro psiquiátrico indefinidamente, incluso de por vida.

También estamos en contra de otras propuestas que merman los derechos civiles, tales como, la libertad vigilada, la medicación forzosa… que se aplicarían de manera arbitraria, sin analizar cada caso en particular,  lo que ratifica que las acciones a seguir ya no obedecerán a medidas tomadas con criterios sanitarios, sino judiciales.

Manifestamos finalmente y de maneraconjunta nuestro más firme rechazo al Anteproyecto de Reforma del Código Penal quede aprobarse, supondría un insulto a los derechos fundamentales.
