Achegamos un artigo de opinión que leva por título: Censura episcopal e que escribiu Jose Ramón Amor Pan:

Hace unos meses, en estas mismas páginas, les decía que el gran obstáculo que iba a tener el papa Francisco en su proceso de renovación de la Iglesia iban a ser los obispos, sobre todo en nuestro país. Y la realidad me está dando la razón, por desgracia. Más allá de un tímido cambio de lenguaje, que en algunos obispos suena claramente impostado, no solo no se está produciendo un cambio de actitud, sino que algunos hechos revelan un claro «sostenella y no enmendalla».

Hace casi dos meses, más de 400 personas se reunieron en el Palacio de Congresos de A Coruña para escuchar a José Antonio Pagola. Hay congresos teológicos muy redichos convocados por la oficialidad que no logran reunir un centenar de participantes ni obligando a asistir a los seminaristas. Con esta ocasión se le hizo una entrevista al teólogo vasco para el programa de la TVG Polo camiño da fe, que tendría que haberse emitido el pasado 22 de junio. Pero altas instancias episcopales dieron orden de no emitirlo.

No pesa ninguna orden de busca o captura contra José Antonio Pagola, no es un hereje y sus libros no están condenados (aunque algún obispo lo intentó, incluido uno que pastorea en Galicia). Es más, el papa Francisco compró su Jesús. Aproximación histórica (PPC, Madrid 2007) e, incluso, lo regaló a un obispo amigo. Un libro, por cierto, que es todo un éxito editorial, con más de 120.000 ejemplares vendidos y que está traducido a varios idiomas, entre ellos el inglés (con todo lo que esto significa). En fin, Pagola es una de las voces teológicas más destacadas en el panorama español de las últimas décadas.

Pero la estructura mental del fundamentalismo, esa misma que, según el papa Francisco, «es violencia en nombre de Dios», pudo más. Otra vez. Solo que en esta ocasión se produce en un medio de comunicación público, que debe ser garante de los más elementales valores democráticos. Además, el programa se ha realizado con fondos públicos y su no emisión supone un dispendio injustificado. Todo lo cual aumenta la gravedad de lo sucedido, ya de por sí grande. Entiendo que los responsables del ente público deberán tomar cartas en el asunto. Porque una cosa es seleccionar quién va a ser entrevistado en un programa, algo absolutamente legítimo y normal; pero otra muy distinta es censurar la emisión de un programa grabado y listo para su emisión.
