El colectivo de autoayuda Imán-Cedro, de la Unidad asistencial de drogodependencias del ayuntamiento de Vigo, deseamos hacer pública nuestra satisfacción por el acuerdo por unanimidad del pleno municipal del martes, 9 de septiembre, en el que se acordó darse un plazo de un mes para buscar una nueva ubicación en local fijo para el Programa Sereos do Casco Vello.
Ante la dura y compleja experiencia de haber tardado años en acordar la ubicación para acogimiento residencial para personas sin techo, hoy en Marqués de Valterra, es por lo que:
Mantenemos la convocatoria-manifestación-cadena humana para el jueves, 12 de septiembre, a las 7 de la tarde, delante del ayuntamiento, en la Plaza del Rey, para salir en manifestación por las calles Placer, Abeleira Menéndez, hasta Elduayen nº 11, bajo el lema “Orgullo Sereos Casco Vello”, abrazando en cadena humana el local en el que durante tantos años se hizo tanto bien a cientos de vecinos y vecinas de nuestra ciudad.
Solicitaremos que se reabra este local hasta la reapertura en la nueva ubicación.
Honraremos a todas las personas de dicho programa, a trabajadoras y trabajadores y especialmente a los mediadores entre iguales, agentes de salud y voluntarios cualificados que tanto acompañaron a la población diana del programa.
