Na entrevista a Ada Colau que onte publicaron no xornal El País atopamos moitos lugares comúns co camiño que estamos iniciar e no que a loita da PAH moito nos axuda.

P. ¿Lleva usted una vida austera?

R. Necesito poco para vivir. Tampoco lo veo como una renuncia: no tengo coche, ni propiedades, ni grandes caprichos.

P. ¿Qué cosas le llenan entonces?

Soy austera: no tengo coche, ni propiedades, ni grandes caprichos”

R. He comprobado que con menos tienes más. Compartir con otros en experiencias como la plataforma, eso es lo que más me llena. Creo que es mucho mejor, incluso en términos egoístas. Es mil veces más satisfactorio vivir con menos que no esa sociedad del consumo que promete felicidad y al final solo hace que te sientas solo, pobre y desgraciado.

P. No tiene casa en propiedad, algo que se le ha criticado siendo portavoz de una plataforma de afectados por las hipotecas.

R. Si hay que ser esclavo para luchar contra la esclavitud, mal iríamos. No me veo afectada por la hipoteca, pero sí por la vivienda, y la plataforma, desde el primer día, defendió el derecho a una vivienda digna, en propiedad o alquiler.

P. ¿En el altruismo hay una parte de egoísmo?

R. Seguro. El activismo de miles de personas no se explicaría si no fuera porque es altamente gratificante. Si fuera solo sacrificio, no habría miles de personas entregadas a esta causa. El proceso de empoderamiento, de ver que nuestra capacidad de transformación es mayor de lo que nos habían dicho, produce satisfacción. La plataforma te da más de lo que tú le das a ella. Eso explica que el movimiento crezca cada día.
