A ODS-Coia, o Grupo de Axitación Social e a parroquia do Cristo da Victoria convocamos á cidadanía a participar na ASEMBLEA ABERTA de información e denuncia da POLÍTICA SOCIAL MUNICIPAL. A xestión das Axudas de Emerxencia Municipais. Celebrarase o venres 25 de abril, a partires das 20h00 no salón de actos da parroquia do Cristo da Victoria (rúa Baiona 9, Coia).

Máis de 2.000 unidades de convivencia agardan pola tramitación de Axudas de Emerxencia Municipais (AEM) do Concello de Vigo. Son máis de 2.000 solicitudes dunha axuda social para “satisfacer necesidades básicas en relación coa alimentación, o aloxamento ou calquera outra situación que poida supoñer un factor de marxinalidade ou risco de exclusión social”, que debido ao “colapso” no concello de Vigo -ata agora estaban a a ser concedidas en pouco máis dunha semana- están a acumular atrasos insoportables para a veciñanza máis empobrecida da cidade.

A banca, FENOSA, Aqualia, GAS Natural… non entenden o COLAPSO que provoca a insuficiencia ou falla de recursos que para moitas persoas imposibilita ter unha vida digna. Mentres, escoitamos cada pouco novidosas iniciativas municipais que aliviarán os nosos sufrimentos en forma de: cheques sociais, tarxetas solidarias, mudanzas no sistema informático, contratación de persoal para axilizaren as tramitacións… Medidas para a galería que en nada melloran situación daquelas persoas que carecen de recursos económicos na cidade.

Entendemos que os responsables municipais están na obriga de explicar á cidadanía este grave problema, polo que convidamos publicamente a Abel Caballero (Alcalde de Vigo) e a Isaura Abelairas (Concelleira de Política do Benestar) a asistir á asemblea e ofrecer a información e as solucións necesarias neste asunto.

De rexeitar o convite da veciñanza, nesta asemblea informativa buscaremos o modo de seguir artellando respostas colectivas e dende abaixo que garantan o respecto dos dereitos sociais de todas. Como primeira medida no caso de non termos respostas acudiriamos ao concello de Vigo o luns 28 ás 11h30 por aquilo de: Se Mahoma non vai á montaña…
