Hoxe 23 de outubro ducias de persoas convocadas pola Oficina de Dereitos Sociais de Coia, a Parroquia Cristo da Victoria e o Grupo de Axitación Social (GAS) quixeron celebrar publicamente o Día contra a riqueza. Todas as persoas que alí estabamos fomos envoltas cun rolo de papel por dúas personaxes caracterizadas como o Alcade de Vigo, Abel Caballero, e o Presidente da Xunta de Galiza, Alberto Núñez Feijoo, quedando de manifesto que a súa resposta ás demandas xustas da cidadanía máis empobrecida non son máis que “rollos”, nunca solucións.

Posteriormente procedemos a ler un manifesto no que, por unha banda, presentamos a Iniciativa Lexislativa Popular estatal por unha Renda Básica; e por outra, esiximos unha vez máis ao Concello de Vigo que respecte o procedemento administrativo legal e regulamentariamente establecido na tramitación e concesión das Subvencións Directas Individuais de Emerxencia Social e, en concreto, que permitan ás persoas que solicitan ditas axudas que presenten por escrito as solicitudes nas UTS, mediante formulario normalizado e conservando unha copia selada.

Ao rematar dous compañeiros subiron a falar unha vez máis co Xefe do Servizo de Asuntos Sociais sobre o tema do procedemento, e mantiveron unha conversa na que quedou claro que finalmente o compromiso expresado polo Xefe de Servizo nunha xuntanza anterior non se ía levar a cabo e que nas UTS non recibirán, nin sequera en administración, solicitudes por escrito.
