CARTA ABIERTA AL ALCALDE DE VIGO

Asunto: El Programa Municipal Sereos do Casco Vello y la nueva Ley de Régimen Local

Vigo, 18 de Octubre de 2013

Sr. Alcalde,

El Colectivo de Autoayuda IMÁN CEDRO de la UAD del Ayuntamiento de Vigo sentimos vergüenza ajena ante sus declaraciones, que recogen los medios de comunicación el pasado 16 de octubre, mezclando el cierre del local del programa municipal SEREOS DO CASCO VELLO, con el Proyecto de Ley de racionalización y sostenibilidad de la Administración Local.

El cierre de dicho local se materializó el 1 de agosto de este año, y el Proyecto de ley al que usted hace referencia no se presentó ante el Congreso de los Diputados hasta el 6 de septiembre.

Por su formación académica y responsabilidades institucionales, que ha tenido y tiene, sabe mejor que nosotros que la tramitación de este proyecto de ley puede demorarse durante meses y que la redacción final podría variar durante dicha tramitación.

En cualquier caso, usted conoce perfectamente, que el actual texto del proyecto, recoge, en la disposición 8ª (artículo 25.2.e) de la futura nueva LRBBRL que: “el Municipio ejercerá, en todo caso, competencias propias, en las siguientes materias: evaluación e información de situaciones de emergencia social y la ATENCIÓN INMEDIATA A PERSONAS EN SITUACIÓN O RIESGO DE EXCLUSIÓN SOCIAL”.

Igualmente, el artículo 26.1.c) de la futura nueva Ley Reguladora de las Bases de Régimen Local establece literalmente que: “En los Municipios con población superior a 20.000 habitantes, se prestarán en todo caso los servicios siguientes (…) evaluación e información de situaciones de emergencia social y la atención inmediata a personas en situación o riesgo de exclusión social”.

Por ello, con las referidas declaraciones, está usted mintiendo, faltando a la verdad consciente y deliberadamente, con el fin de tratar de justificar una decisión política del todo injustificable.

Exigimos un cambio de actitud constructivo y el cumplimiento del Acuerdo Plenario del pasado 9 de septiembre de 2.013.
