Dende Redes Cristiás lanzaron unha campaña de apoio a Pagola para reivindicar unha rectificación ante a retirada do seu libro sobre Xesús: "El libro “Jesús: aproximación historica” de J. A. Pagola ha sido retirado, sin ninguna explicación, de algunas librerías. Somos un grupo de gente comprometida en distintas áreas sociales y eclesiales, y queremos añadir nuestra humilde voz a las manifestaciones que recientemente han sido publicadas. Si deseas mostrar tu solidaridad a J.A.Pagola, así como pedir que se nos informe sobre lo que está pasando; te invitamos a que firmes con tu nombre, dos apellidos y DNI, el artículo que te enviamos y nos lo reenvies a [email protected].

Nosotros nos encargaremos de ir recopilando cada firma y después, hacer llegar nuestros deseos a La Nunciatura Apostólica en Madrid, a la Conferencia Episcopal Española, a la Diócesis de San Sebastián y al propio J. A. Pagola."

En relación a la noticia recogida por los medios de comunicación sobre la retirada de las librerías del libro de Jose Antonio Pagola “Jesús, una aproximación histórica”, somos much@s l@s creyentes que necesitamos una explicación, y al mismo tiempo nos sentimos obligad@s a expresar fielmente lo que sentimos y pensamos.

Creemos que acciones tan graves como ésta requieren un esclarecimiento oficial. Quienes hayan tomado esta decisión deben tener nombre, rostro y argumentos para justificarla. El autoritarismo y el oscurantismo que envuelven esta decisión resta a la Iglesia credibilidad evangélica y hace mucho daño a quienes la formamos y la amamos.

Por esa razón, pedimos respetuosa pero firmemente que se nos diga la verdad acerca de este veto a la obra de J. A. Pagola, que desautoriza también expresamente al obispo que le otorgó el “nihil obstat”, D. Juan Maria Uriarte, y por extensión, a los miles y miles de creyentes y no creyentes que hemos sido consolados, iluminados e interpelados por su lectura.

A much@s este libro nos ha ayudado a creer y a querer a Jesús de Nazaret. Nos ha esponjado el corazón y despertado el deseo de ser mejores. Por eso queremos mostrar y hacer público nuestro apoyo y agradecimiento a J. A. Pagola por habernos mostrado el rostro de un Dios Misericordioso apasionadamente enamorado de cada un@ de nosotr@s.

J. A. Pagola no confunde nuestra fe, sino que la alimenta y le da alas. Quienes han dado la orden de retirar su libro de todas las librerías, sin ninguna explicación, sí que nos confunden. Por eso pedimos, una vez más, que se nos informe y se nos diga la verdad de lo que está pasando.
