Ás 10h00 déronse cita no campo de fútbol para disputar o I Campionato de Fútbol. Hai que subliñar que para ser a primeira vez, foi todo un éxito rotundo, onde uns 40 nenos/as demostraron as súas dotes futbolísticas e deportivas.
Rematado os partidos pasamos xogos populares. Desempóanse os aros, os trompos,… e aos poucos, tras uns consellos dos veteranos, os nenos van conseguindo dominalos. Tras tanta actividade, a banda de Música de Cabral brindounos un intre de relax e de serenidade. Foi un concerto que a case todos deixáronnos admirados. Ata os paxaros de A Bouza achegáronse para escoitalos.
Ás 14h00 pásamos á xuntanza comunitaria. Un gran despregamento de mesas, cadeiras, manteis e comida estendíase ao longo da frondosa carballeira. Tras unha longa sobremesa, con sesta para moitos, pásase ao xogo da chave. Un xogo que ano tras ano vai collendo máis adeptos e onde se dan cita os mellores xogadores do barrio.
Ás 19h00 houbo que interromper a chave, para dar cita ás actuacións dos grupos folclóricos de Baile, pandereteiras e gaitas de Rueiro. Outro ano máis nos deixaron pampos, mención especial aos máis pequenos, nos que se nota xa o seu gran talento.
Logo desta magnífica actuación renóvase o xogo da chave onde a final facíase esperar dada a gran competitividade e igualdade dos máis fortes. Ao final, e para non ter que xogar baixo a luz artificial todos os finalistas foron os gañadores. De premio tíñanlles reservado o bocadillo de chourizo como vén sendo habitual.
O tempo hai que dicir que foi ideal, nin calor nin frío, aínda que de cando en vez había que buscar os raios de sol para cargar as pilas. Hai que dar as grazas todo o mundo que se achegou á nosa Bouza neste día e máis aínda a eses voluntarios/as que estiveron colaborando con participación cidadá, para que isto siga vivo; montando e desmontando o quiosco, vendendo empanadas, tortillas, refrescos e estando ao pé do lume preparando eses ricos bocadillos de chourizo que a media tarde a todos tentábannos e aos que velaron polo bo funcionamento da Parrotroca.
Esta festa sérvenos tamén para reivindicar a construción do futuro Centro Cultural, que cada vez está máis próximo en en tempo e que é indispensable para o noso barrio. Ás 22h00 baixo a calor da queimada pechábase o programa e despedímonos ata a próxima do 2012.
